I always get the bacon cheeseburger. It’s amazing, and I’m someone that eats out everyday. The fries with the homemade dipping sauce are different. The chicken sausage gumbo is by far the best I’ve eaten around here, with a good, dark coonass roux

Beaumont, TX: Hundreds ‘Lunch on the Lake,’ Show Support for Food Trucks

As lunchtime came, more people crowded the sidewalk trying to decide what they wanted to eat. Monday November 19, 2012 was the first of three scheduled Lunch at the Lake events at the new downtown Event Centre. The City of Beaumont provided the music, seating, and scenery, and visitors could get lunch from one of these food vendors that were on site like Big Bo's barbecue, Charles Brewer barbecue, Rao's pizza and gelato, Terrell's ice cream, Wise Guys Grill burgers and fries, and Zummo's sausage and boudain. Judging from Monday’s Lunch on the Lake, the prospects for food trucks in Beaumont look as positive as the food’s reviews.
