Fully Equipped Kitchen Truck stars with Red Cross’ Emergency Services Institute

Herald & Review/Kelly J. Huff  Red Cross Illinois Mid-Illinois Chapter volunteer Priscilla Burnett of Decatur lifts the lid on one of three 30 gallon tilting skillets inside the Henry's Kitchen disaster relief vehicle which was used as training for Illinois volunteers Thursday as they feed those gathered at The Good Samaritan Inn. The vehicle also features a walk-in freezer/refrigerator, dual stacking convection ovens and a 40 gallon steam kettle. Inside the truck was a fully equipped kitchen bustling with volunteers cooking rice, stir fry and cobbler for dessert.
