Food trucks have become a national craze, and now they’re coming to O’Fallon.
The city’s inaugural Food Truck Frenzy will come to Fort Zumwalt Park on Saturday, August 10 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
“These are popular events around the area,” O’Fallon Director of Communications Tom Drabelle told Patch. “This is the first time for us—we’ll see if it picks up steam, and then possibly plan for more next year.”
Among the mobile eateries participating are:
- Bombay Food Junkies
- Le Food Truck
- Speedway Eatery
- Yo! Taco
- Holy Crepe!
- My Big Fat Greek Truck
“It’s also a great way to have the community involved and explore one of the Parks O’Fallon has to offer,” Festival Coordinator Jennifer Hoisington told Patch.
Rendezvous Café will be selling locally-crafted beer and wine, and live music will be provided by Ozark Revival.
Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating. Parking is available on the loop road through the park. The event will go on, rain or shine.
In addition to the food trucks and live music, the historic Heald Home will be open for tours for $2 per person.
